About Us
NOHVA was founded with the goal of bringing off-highway vehicle owners and riders together to achieve common goals and protect our right to ride. ATV's, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles have provided years of fun and safe family entertainment. It gives us a chance to get out, breathe some fresh air, and enjoy our beautiful country, without roads, highways, paved trails, the earth itself, the way it was intended to be enjoyed.

But the rights of off-highway vehicle owners are at risk. At the time of this writing, there is a proposed bill (SB00330) calling for the ban of all ATV sales in the state of Connecticut. At the same time, there is a proposed bill (HB05619) calling for the establishment of 4 dedicated ATV riding trail systems in the 4 corners of the state. There are also local ordinances being considered in many towns outlawing off-highway vehicle use within town borders.

Off-highway vehicle owners and riders are at risk of losing the right to operate their own vehicle in their own yard. At the same time, there is incredible opportunity to increase riding opportunities for riders. NOHVA exists to provide information to owners, riders, and friends, so that they can be aware of proposed changes in law before they happen, and give riders the chance to effect those laws before they are in place.

In addition to these goals, NOHVA would like to provide safety training and information, as well as create a dedicated local riding area for dirt bikes, ATV's and snowmobiles, so we can enjoy our sport in a safe and appropriate environment.

Please register today with NOHVA. Your rights cannot be protected if you don't know when they are being taken away.
